Sarsaparilla Root

Sarsaparilla has been used to flavor root beer. Traditionally, it has been used to help strengthen the liver, and perhaps it is through this action that it is said to be useful in also helping balance hormones. It has also been used as a blood purifier, helping clear the skin, and also helping to relieve rheumatic pains. Traditional Chinese Medicine is thought to have utilized sarsaparilla to relieve venereal diseases.
