Also known as Tulsi.Holy basil has been used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine. It is considered to be deeply restorative after stressful events and may act as a protective against stress by helping lower cortisol levels. Traditionally in India, it has been used to open the mind and the heart. Tulsi is said to improve and strengthen digestion and strengthen the nervous system. You can also find tulsi in blends for focus, memory, and mental acuity.
